“Most people live their whole lives working toward what that environment taught them is the way to live, without questioning why. The process of understanding the why is what challenges you to take an inventory of your beliefs and allows you to discard the ones that don’t serve you.”
—Najwa Zebian
Because this is the second phase of “THA VIRTUAL VI$ION QUE$T: THA PREPARATION” — understanding the need to prepare the home within for transformation, is paramount.
“THA $HAMAN’$ $OLITUDE” serves as the activation of your divine spirit and mind; a process of releasing any self-doubt, un-constructive criticism and energies that no longer serve you.
When building a fortress of self-love we must begin with acknowledging the treasure within — a treasure that so many have worked hard to cheapen and degrade; it is up to us to protect and honor it, while nurturing this divine vessel that we have been placed in.
Having been constantly fed the lie that we must sacrifice our femininity and Ancestral healing for the benefit of society, it is time to re-program our beliefs; especially as we begin to commit to strengthening our spiritual foundation and reprogramming our mentality to benefit our journey.
Having grown up around the negative affects of irresponsible word-witchery, I’ve come to understand the power and magic that comes from your words — which is why being impeccable with your word is imperative, especially when speaking to and of yourself.
With my Pluto in the 12th House of Scorpio, solitude is a necessity in order for me to regenerate my energy, gain clarity and re-focus on my truth — regardless of what any external noise may try to dictate. I’ve found that my resurrections have always occurred in solitude.
The spiritual war wounds left behind on our collective psyche has been continually swept under the metaphorical rug of oppression and has been silenced from the public forum for too long; resulting in most Black Women fighting against a mindset that has been attacking our psyche — like a hidden parasite — longer than we may realize.
What our mothers may not have ingrained in us, is how to protect ourselves from the countless amounts of spiritual warfare aimed at us through societal propaganda and systematic abuse. For years, during my depression I was fighting an internal and external spiritual war with little to no preparation of a defensive strategy.
Truth is…you must create your own strategy of self-love and be willing to isolate in order to create an inner world that you are proud of; the mind games you must play with yourself need to become the center of your ether. In times of crisis, you must stay grounded and in tune with your purpose and the divine chaos that stirs within you universe.
Trusting in your magic is what will set the cypher ablaze with ambition and premonition.
