“The erotic has often been misnamed by men and used against women. It has been made into the confused, the trivial, the psychotic, the plasticized sensation. For this reason, we have often turned away from the exploration and consideration of the erotic as a source of power and information, confusing it with its opposite, the pornographic. But pornography is a direct denial of the power of the erotic, for it represents the suppression of true feeling. Pornography emphasizes sensation without feeling.” —Audre Lorde [ ‘Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power’ ]
“THA VIRTUAL VI$ION QUE$T: THA PREPARATION”
As I soak in the watery dreamscape of my steaming hot bubble bath, I’m usually full of reflection & contemplation of the path forward — with faint whispers of past obstacles reminding me of the war wounds I’ve collected over the years in order to get to this moment of preparation.
An odyssey of sorts, beginning in the spirit — as it molds one’s values, habits & goals — is necessary in order to excavate internally to truly find the power that’s been hidden from oneself.
Now is time to prepare for a sojourn of the ages — a virtual vision quest that will be officially launching on MAY 1, 2024.
“THA VIRTUAL VI$ION QUE$T: THA PREPARATION” will be laid out in the four sequences:
A. [ tha intentional ideation. ]
B. [ tha shaman’s solitude. ]
C. [ tools of tha tradition. ]
D. [ tha digital deity awaits. ]
Each phase is set to unpack revelations & contemplate the healing possibilities of the power that’s been hidden from Black Women; in plain sight.
Any questions?😌
